Jenna Miles (she/her)

LPC, LPC-S, PMH-C, Founder

Jenna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), an LPC Supervisor (LPC-S), a National Board Certified Counselor, and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). She is also a preferred provider for Postpartum Support Virginia. With a Master’s in Counseling Education, Jenna remains dedicated to professional growth and staying current in a wide range of counseling modalities.

Her career spans inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community-based mental health, adoption and foster care services, intensive in-home care, and private practice. These diverse experiences have given her the opportunity to support individuals and families navigating Mood and Anxiety Disorders, relationship and family challenges, neurodivergence, and many other mental health concerns. Through both personal and professional experience, Jenna has also developed a deep passion for maternal mental health and for supporting couples as they navigate the transition to parenthood.

At the heart of her work is a genuine love for people. Jenna values walking alongside individuals and couples through all stages of life—the joys, the struggles, and the in-between. Her counseling style is collaborative, authentic, and nonjudgmental, yet also direct. She is known for asking thoughtful questions and encouraging meaningful reflection, always fostering an atmosphere of trust where clients can explore what may be holding them back from living fully.

Her counseling techniques are tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Above all, Jenna feels honored to be invited into people’s stories and holds deep respect for the courage it takes to seek support.

Outside of her counseling work, she is a partner and proud mom of two elementary-aged children and three rescue dogs. She enjoys listening to a good book, is a self-proclaimed Costco enthusiast, and loves staying active—especially when there’s a little friendly competition involved.

Kyi Sterling (she/her)

Resident in Counseling
Accepting new clients
In-person & Virtual

I am a Resident in Counseling who earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have several years of experience providing community-based mental health services, as well as working in crisis settings. I am passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and adjustment-related challenges. I also hold a special interest in perinatal mental health and enjoy working with women and individuals navigating identity, relationships, and self-esteem.

My therapeutic style is integrative, meaning I tailor sessions to the needs of each client. I primarily draw from strength- and evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to foster meaningful growth and build practical skills. I regularly utilize mindfulness, grounding techniques, and psychoeducation to help clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and long-term resilience. I strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, affirming, and grounded in respect.

I have experience working with clients managing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder (MDD), agoraphobia, and panic disorder. I meet clients where they are and often draw from their past and upbringing to guide how we heal and improve the present. I approach each person’s story gently but with curiosity, creating a supportive space for exploration, growth, and change.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching TV, traveling, and spending quality time with my dog, friends, and family.
